As far as debut albums go, A Century Ends has to be up there with the best of them. This is probably as good an album as David will ever record. If he does ever surpass this moment of genius I sure as hell will want to hear it. This rates in my top five favourite albums of all time.
Really this is all I can say about A Century Ends. My favourite song changes every week. It is a Masterpiece.
Enough said: Just buy it

Flesh was the first David Gray album I ever heard and contains what I consider some of David's finest moments. The stand out tracks for me are 'The Light', 'Falling Free', Mystery of Love' and the title track 'Flesh'. Although there is not a bad track on this album it doesn't quite reach the heights of the first album. Nevertheless, it is still a great record and well worth buying.
Flesh also sees David experimenting with a more upbeat electric sound as oppossed to the purely acoustic approach of 'A Century Ends'

I bought this album as soon as it was released, expecting great things and I have to admit to being a tad disapointed. I still feel this way even though I believe it to be a very good album. My problem seems to stem from the fact that this album sees David move away even further from the acoustic sound found on the first album.
Stand out tracks are 'Late Night Radio', 'Magdalena', 'Smile' and 'Gutters Full Of Rain'.
Regardless of what I have already said, Sell, Sell, Sell is a very good album and is well worth purchasing
